Weekly Photo Feature: Expressions

This has happened more than once at our house, but this is a little container lid that fell from the top of the dishwasher, down to the heating coils.. Here is it's "I'M MELTING..." face:

Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas! I'm still recovering, but I wanted to make sure I put this photo up! Also, here is the monkey my Dad got for Christmas.. so creepy!

Weekly Photo Feature: Signs

I slacked a bit with this one, but it's the first "welcome" sign we received when we moved into our new house. I love it! Maybe I'll get another one later this week to make up for it..

Did I freaking forget to mention that I went to Yellowstone with Jeremy?! It was incredible and I will gladly post more photos if the demand is there. Here are some photos!!

Weekly Photo Feature!!

My brother Kris and his sister-in-law Bonnie have invited me to take part in their "weekly photo feature with a specific theme" to improve on our photography. I'm pretty excited! During the winter, it's a little harder for me to feel inspired to take photos, so I'm hoping this will hype me up more! I will start posting the photos sometime this week and this week's theme is "Signs" .. Get excited! lol

Reaching back..

I haven't been taking photos very well lately, but I never posted these and I really liked them.. Here ya go! These are from a little trip up the canyon to Scofield to find some graves of my mom's ancestors. Very photogenic town, I want to come back in the Spring!

Feeling loved..

So, my little brother isn't so little anymore.. That's been a hard reality for me to come to terms with this last year. But I've come to realize that he also values my opinion a lot and likes me just as much as I like him. We're really good friends, and that's so valuable to me. Here's a little tribute to my awesome little brother, Jeremy!

TIMP! (late)

Jeremy and I hiked Mt. Timpanogos toward the end of August (before snow started sticking up there) but we didn't hike all the way.. We just hiked to the basin because we were pressed for time. To be honest, I was relieved when Jeremy suggested we just hike to the basin. I was hurting! But considering how much I've hiked in the last few years (i.e. NEVER), I think I did pretty well! Needless to say, the fall colors were out and doing very well. We mostly did this for the photography experience, so without further ado:

We just took these with our D3000 and a tripod.. Turned out great! I can't believe it's almost been 5 years!

My parents got a new cat: Kitteh! She's so pretty and playful! :)

I had to stop and take this before heading out to work yesterday; I love it when the clouds do that!!

Spring has finally sprung! I love my oak tree, even though it's tiny at the moment..
